We build your exact model
Your impression is 3D scanned and digitally modeled using a Shining Accu printer with dental resin — creating an anatomically accurate replica of your teeth. This printed model becomes the foundation for your guard.

Hand-finished by a technician
This is the step most online labs skip. Your guard is tested on the 3D printed replica from multiple angles. Every edge that catches is hand-trimmed, shaped, and polished by one of our dental technicians. The result is a guard that seats correctly and stays in.

Your guard ships with a travel case and care instructions. Standard shipping takes 2–5 business days for the kit and 3–7 business days for lab processing. Expedited service (Priority Mail + 2-day lab) is available for $80.

Thermoforming produces a guard that roughly matches your teeth. Hand-finishing is what makes it seat correctly — trimming the edges to the exact contour of your bite, smoothing every surface that touches soft tissue, testing it on your printed model from every angle.
Most online labs stop at the machine. We don't. Every Sentinel guard is finished by hand before it ships — because that's the difference between a guard that fits on the first night and one that ends up on the nightstand.

What's not in your guard
We use only dental-grade, FDA-compliant materials. Here's what you'll never find in a Sentinel guard.
Same material standards as your dentist
Sentinel's lab is FDA registered. Our finishing process meets the same standards your dentist's lab is held to — because we are one.
No leaching substances
You wear your guard 6–8 hours a night. Leaching is real — it happens when plasticisers migrate out of the material into your body. Every Sentinel material is selected specifically because it does not leach.
Not just BPA free — BPS free too
Many 'BPA free' products substitute BPA with BPS, which researchers believe may be equally harmful. Sentinel is free of both — and every other bisphenol compound.
