It took me quite a while to actually start wearing a night guard. I let my TMJ get so bad that I was experiencing a crunching sound in my jaw. I couldn’t afford the ones from the dental office so decided to give this a try. I’ve had this guard now for a few weeks and my jaw feels SO MUCH BETTER. I have to wear it every night. There were a couple of nights I forgot to put it in and I felt it the next morning. Now, it’s not completely gone. I still have some mild pain but nothing like what I was experiencing. Okay here is my experience with Sentinel Mouthguards:
The process is easy but you have to pay attention to the impression instructions. I failed my first two attempts because I mixed the putty for too long the first time and the second time I distorted the impression because I moved the tray around while it was in my mouth. Both times were admittedly my fault but I was still frustrated at the time it happened.
The customer service is excellent. They were prompt and friendly. Sent me a new kit with no charge. I got a great impression of my teeth. Waited about a week and 1/2 and sure enough my mouth guard came. It comes in a black retainer case. I tried it in and it fit well. Took me a few nights to get used to it but the quality is great and I saved so much money going the online route instead of my dentist. Not to mention the hassle of driving back and forth.
I wear mine nightly. I called and they gave me some cleaning instructions. Pretty simple. Use a mild soap and a soft toothbrush. Make sure you rinse it well and dry it completely. This will prevent yellowing. I’m already seeing a few grind marks on the guard but better on the guard than my teeth grinding together!
Overall, I highly recommend Sentinel Mouthguards. The experience was impressive and quick.
I ordered a lower guard to start. When I received it, I realized my tongue likes to flick it up at night. I called the company and they switched me to an upper guard. I already had the upper impression on file with them because with these heavy duty guards, they require both an upper and lower teeth impression. Super easy and convenient! I was sent the upper teeth guard and it fits perfectly. This product is excellent and the customer service is amazing!

I have gone through so many professionally made dental night guards and I’ve never liked any of them.
This mouth guard is not only a great value but it fits over my teeth perfectly. Because they take the time to shape it to the contours of my teeth, it actually fits to my teeth like a glove. Just because you pay to have a custom made night guard doesn’t mean that it’s going to fit like this. I have had several guards made by dentists that didn’t fit this good! These technicians know what they’re doing. I recommend this company to everyone I know and I’m happy to write a glowing review for them.

Best sleeping night guard I’ve ever used
Much easier to sleep in than the one I got from my dentist. It’s still thick but much less bulky if that makes sense.
May purchase a second one while it’s at this price (dentist charged $500).
I bought this on Amazon originally and have been a customer ever since. Great find and the price is right. Wearing a night guard has helped me tremendously.Instead of waking up with my jaw screaming at me, I just wake up like a normal person now. I do have to wear mine nightly and notice that the jaw pain starts creeping back up on me if I’m not consistent. The teeth impression kit is straight forward and they give you an extra putty if you mess up.
Although my first guard didn’t fit right, Sentinel was quick to make me a free replacement and it fit perfectly. I didn’t mind the hiccup because I literally saved hundreds of dollars by not going through my dentist. Easy to get used to wearing and I love their attention to customer care!

Needed an adjustment. They had me print out a tooth chart and circle the teeth area that the guard was too tight. I sent it in and it was very quickly returned to me with the correct adjustments. My guard fits great now and I am pleased with the service.
