I messed up the first time but the kit included a backup putty pack. I emailed the company a picture and got an immediate response that the dental mold was good to go.

So, first off, these products are made here in the USA and the company is transparent and helpful about the products they use. I have a gluten allergy and I’m also very cautious about the use of plastics. I contacted several other companies and asked them about the safety of their products. Sentinel was the only company to provide me with detailed information about the materials they use. I feel comfortable ordering from them because of this. I’ve worn the guard for several weeks now and have no complaints. Very happy with this product and would highly recommend for daytime teeth clenchers like myself.

Pros: The impression kit arrived quickly and had an extra putty pack for when I messed up (which I inevitably did)
It’s sturdy (I went with the 2mm) and comfortable. I can smile and talk with it in.
It’s discreet. The price was good. Way better than my dentist.
They hold on to the impression in case I want to order a backup.
Cons: The actual guard took about 1 1/2 weeks to arrive after I mailed in the impression. Wish they would do a faster turnaround.
The instructions should say to mix impression putty VERY quickly because I waited too long and the putty hardened on me. Luckily they included an extra pack of putty for a 2nd attempt.
Overall, I am satisfied with my purchase and will probably order a backup guard down the road as my dog seems to love these things.

When my daughter’s night guard finally wore through, I tried Sentinel after reading the reviews. She mostly grinds her teeth during the day so after a conversation with the customer service, we went with the day guard. The process works a lot like how it would be handled at the dentist’s office but with fraction of the cost. They send you the impression kit, you send it back to them and within a week or so you receive the guard. The first time we sent the impression, the top wasn’t deep enough so they sent us another kit for her upper teeth. We gave it another go and it worked. The fit is very comfortable for my daughter and so far it seems sturdy. It’s a great alternative way to get your night guard for daytime and I highly recommend purchasing from Sentinel.
