Not as good as guards purchased previously

Needs more protection for back teeth grinding

Great but with downfalls

I love the mouth guards however the were out very fast. The warranty is very nice and was upheld with minimal back and forth. The customer service is great.

I am sorry to say that the first go around was not a good fit. The lower part of the front teeth on the backside (tongue side) stuck out and cut into my tongue. I sent it back and they were able to smooth it out. Fits better now.

Upper retainer did not fit at first. Lower fit great. Contacted the company. They sent a new impression kit. This time I sent in a picture of my upper teeth to make sure it would work before I mailed it in. The 2nd guard fits much better. Customer service is helpful.

TEETH IMPRESSION ADVICE: I recommend that you mix the putty faster than the instructions state. Mix all the putty until the white streaks are no longer visible. What they don't tell you is that you need to move very fast because you have still have to consider the time it takes to roll it into a hotdog shape and put it in the tray. If you wait too long, the putty will harden like a rock and you won't be able to get your teeth in. Luckily they give you a 2nd attempt but not an extra tray so you have to remove the blue putty to try again. Got it the 2nd time around. Hope this helps somebody.

After my dentist told me I needed a guard to prevent teeth grinding, he tried to sell me one of his night guards. When that didn't work because of the astronomical cost of the guard he wanted to sell me, I was then referred to an ENT doctor. I was told to stress less, take magnesium and wear a night guard. I was about to give up when I did a search and selected this company because of the positive reviews. I'm adding another positive review. So far, I have had only positive things to say about this experience. For this night guard you will need to take upper and lower dental impressions. I received the kit quickly and read the instructions thoroughly but I still had a few questions and called the company and customer service was great. My questions were answered. I was apprehensive about making the mold. I tried placing the mold tray in my mouth and gagged. The company representative (Suzanne?) told me to use the slightly larger tray because I should not hit the tray with my teeth. They include two tray sizes but an additional size is available should the included ones not fit properly. It's also important to mix the molding clay properly into a consistent color before inserting into the tray. Set a timer for 3 minutes. You need a full 3 minutes with the molding clay/tray in your mouth for the mold to form properly. Try doing this in front of the mirror. If you fail you can call the company and they will supply you another kit at no cost. After you make the mold you need to send a photo to sentinelmouthguards@gmail.com and they will confirm whether it is successful before you mail it to the lab in a self-addressed, prepaid envelope. It took about 10 days from the date of mailing for the guard to arrive. The guard comes with a free retainer case. My guard required no additional adjustments but the company will help you should you need it. This was my first guard and has worked successfully so far. According to the company, the guard should last about 2 years. They also keep the impressions on file for 1 year from the date of purchase in case you need to reorder.

I took several weeks to evaluate this product before posting a review. Pros: The impression kit arrived quickly and had an extra putty pack for when I messed up (which I inevitably did) It's sturdy (I went with the 2mm) and comfortable. I can smile and talk with it in. It's discreet. The price was good. Way better than my dentist. They hold on to the impression in case I want to order a backup. Cons: The actual guard took about 1 1/2 weeks to arrive after I mailed in the impression. Wish they would do a faster turnaround. The instructions should say to mix impression putty VERY quickly because I waited too long and the putty hardened on me. Luckily they included an extra pack of putty for a 2nd attempt. Overall, I am satisfied with my purchase and will probably order a backup guard down the road as my dog seems to love these things.

Love my night guard. I took a star away from it because they could make the teeth impression instructions more clear! Took me 3 tries but at least the redo kits they sent out were free. Received the guard and it's the best one I've ever owned. Been wearing night guards since the early 90's so I've gone through my fair share. Overall, a good company with a good product.

Easy and surprisingly quick process. Anthony handled my initial million questions over the phone beautifully. Will be ordering a second backup guard soon! 100% satisfied :D :D :D
